There are few things more inconvenient than getting stranded due to your car battery dying. Not to mention, it can be a dangerous situation to find yourself in, especially if you’re in a remote area with poor cell service and little access to help.

Our founder Lewis experienced the same dilemma while working for a roadside rescue company, responding to numerous phone calls from people who were stranded in unfavorable weather conditions with a dead car battery. Knowing there must be a more efficient solution, he decided to take the wheel.

It wasn’t long before he began developing a portable jump starter in his spare time. Many attempts later and two months into his endeavor, he had successfully created a portable lithium-ion jump starter that maintains its charge longer and recharges and transmits power quicker, making it a superior alternative to lead.
